Lactation Support Includes:

• Maternal/newborn health history

• Discovering breastfeeding goals

• Assessment of latch, position & oral anatomy

• Pre & post feed weights 

• Investigation of any concerns

• Exploration of possible solutions

• Collaboration to design a feeding plan to reach infant feeding goals

• Education (pumping, manual expression, assistive equipment, etc.)

• Electronic health record with parent portal with HIPAA compliant messaging & VideoCare

• Report sent to pediatrician as necessary
